6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks closer Greg Holland worked around a walk issued in a scoreless ninth inning in Wednesday's 3-2 win against the New York Yankees to secure his seventh save of the season. Holland threw 13 of his 23 pitches for strikes, as he continues to pitch well. The closer is 7-for-7 with just two hits and five walks allowed in 11 scoreless innings with 15 strikeouts, validating manager Torey Lovullo's decision to go with Holland as the closer.
