7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Greg Holland was officially activated for Monday's game. In a corresponding move, reliever Mike Mayers was optioned to Triple-A Memphis. Holland was signed on Opening Day and needed a little time to get up to speed, making a few appearances in the Cardinals minor league system. He'll instantly be working in the closer's role, and should be one of the most valuable relief pitchers in fantasy for the rest of the season. He led the league in saves last season, and even with the late start this year, he has a chance to win the saves title again in 2018.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
