Grayson Greiner Suffers Broken Nose
4 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher Grayson Greiner (nose) was forced to leave Sunday's spring training game against the Toronto Blue Jays after being hit by a pitch in the face. On Monday, the Tigers reported that Greiner had suffered a broken nose. Luckily for Greiner, he won't need reconstruction and there was no damage to the orbital bone. He is expected to be sidelined for about a week. Last year, Greiner appeared in 18 games for the Tigers and slashed .118/.182/.333 with three home runs, eight RBI and eight runs. This year, he's in position to be the team's No. 2 catcher behind offseason signee Wilson Ramos.
