Golden Tate Should Continue To Be Mr. Consistent in Week 2
6 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate caught seven of 15 targets in Week 1 versus the Jets. He also scored the Lions' lone offensive touchdown. As the Lions' slot receiver, he has proven to be a reliable target for Matthew Stafford for the last five seasons, and that should continue against the 49ers on Sunday. While the Lions may not be throwing quite as much as Week 1, as they aren't expected to be trailing by 31 points again, expect Tate to be able to exploit the middle of the 49ers defense. In PPR, Tate is a lock to be at least a WR3, with the possibility of being a low-end WR1 or a high-end WR2 with a score.
