Golden Tate Scores Lions Only Offensive Touchdown
6 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate was on the receiving end of the team's only offensive touchdown against the Jets on Monday. Tate caught 7-of-15 targets for 79 yards. On the opening drive of the second half, quarterback Matthew Stafford connected with Tate three times, en route to the touchdown from 24 yards out. 10 of his 15 targets came in the second half, after New York went on to score 31 unanswered to run away with the game. While Detroit was forced to throw exclusively in the second half, Stafford's connection to Tate is further proof that he has one of the highest floors of any receiver in all of fantasy.
