Golden Tate Returns For Giants In Week 5
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate will make his first appearance of the season on Sunday. After serving a four-game suspension, Tate will slide right into the starting lineup after the team released Bennie Fowler, who had been operating as the team's number three receiver and main slot option. The Vikings are a tough defense, but Tate's role in the slot will likely mean that he avoids star cornerback Xavier Rhodes. However, until we see how Tate is incorporated into the offense and how the team splits targets between him, Evan Engram, and Sterling Shepard, it's best to leave Tate on your bench as more of a WR4 option this week.
