Golden Tate Has WR1 Upside This Week
6 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate has been one of the most targeted receivers in the league so far with 28 looks. Those numbers are skewed since Detroit has been playing from behind almost the entire season so far, but it's not surprising as he is Matthew Stafford's security blanket. This week, the Lions draw the Patriots at home, which bodes well for Tate and the rest of the offense, as New England has the 19th-ranked pass defense. In PPR leagues, Tate is a lock as a WR2 with the possibility of being a WR1 if he can find the endzone.
