Golden Tate Catches Four Passes Against Dolphins
6 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate hauled in four of six targets for 36 yards in the victory over the Dolphins on Sunday. He also rushed for 30 yards on one carry. It was a relatively quiet day for the Lions most reliable receiver. Matthew Stafford only threw or 217 yards in the game with six players catching at least two passes. Despite leading the team in receptions and targets, this was Tate's worst game of the season from a statistical standpoint, as all of his receiving totals were season lows. Chalk this up to a tough matchup with Miami's secondary, as well as Detroit getting a solid showing from their run game. Next week, Tate gets to face off against his former team, the Seattle Seahawks, at home.
