6 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres hasn't been in form since returning from injury, a fact that was highlighted over the weekend as he went hitless during his club’s devastating sweep in Boston. Monday night in Chicago, however, he had his best game in days, recording two hits, including a solo home run in the eighth. The home run was one of two in the inning, as the Yankees put the finishing touches on a 7-0 victory. The rookie second baseman will be an instrumental part of his team down the stretch if they are to right the ship and clinch a postseason berth.--RDelgado
