Gleyber Torres Exits Sunday's Game
1 year agoNew York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres (undisclosed) exited Sunday's win over the Kansas City Royals. It's unknown why he was pulled from the game. However, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com speculated that he may have "bumped his head" while making a throw to first base in the third inning. The 26-year-old had a fantastic game prior to his premature departure, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one homer before being replaced by Anthony Volpe. The Yanks are off on Monday before commencing a two-game set with the Mets on Tuesday. Torres may be available, although fantasy managers will probably get an update by Monday at the latest.
