2 years agoThe New York Yankees removed second baseman Gleyber Torres (hip/groin) from Tuesday's contest against the Cleveland Guardians after experiencing tightness in his hip and groin area. According to Pete Caldera of USA Today, manager Aaron Boone will likely keep the 26-year-old out of Wednesday's lineup, but he doesn't think it's a significant issue. The Yankees and fantasy managers are hoping Torres comes back as soon as possible, as he's slashing .371/.522/.657 with two homers, eight runs, eight RBI, and five stolen bases in just 11 games.
