3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Giovanny Gallegos earned his 12th save of the season in Game 1 of Friday's doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs. Gallegos leads all of baseball with 10 saves in the month of September, and he's certainly locked down the ninth inning role in the St. Louis bullpen. With Alex Reyes still walking seemingly every other batter he faces, Gallegos seems certain to keep the ninth inning to himself for the rest of the regular season and into the playoffs.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
