5 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard assumed full-time running back duties after Joe Mixon suffered an ankle injury in the Bengals Week 1 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. In Mixon's absence, Bernard carried the football seven times for just 21 yards as the eight-year veteran struggled to find running lanes against a Seattle defensive front that controlled the line of scrimmage. Bernard added two catches for 42 yards in a losing effort. If Mixon misses any time, Bernard will be in the RB2 conversation.--Mike Riggall - RotoBaller
