1 year agoLos Angeles Angels infielder Gio Urshela (pelvis) sustained a left pelvis fracture back in June, and it was reported that he'd miss the rest of the 2023 season. As of Monday, though, the 31-year-old is no longer using crutches and is expected to go through a normal offseason, but he still won't return before the end of this year. Before hitting the injured list, Urshela batted .299 with a pair of home runs, 22 runs, 24 RBI, and three steals over 62 games. The eight-year veteran is a free agent heading into 2024 and shouldn't have trouble landing a big-league contract.--Spencer Seguin
