Gio Urshela Remains Out Monday
3 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Monday's contest against Baltimore. Urshela won't start for the fourth straight game as he deals with a hamstring ailment. He should still be viewed as day-to-day, though manager Aaron Boone indicated Sunday that Urshela is headed in the right direction. The Yankees will go with a new look in the field and start Rougned Odor at third base in Urshela's absence. Odor has never played the position at the big league level before this season, but it's a way to keep his hot bat in the lineup. He hit .292 with four homers and 15 RBI in July.
