Gio Urshela Plates Two Runs In Tuesday's Win
4 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela drove in two runs to help his team to a 7-4 victory over Texas on Tuesday. Urshela ripped a 100.3 MPH double to deep left field, scoring Aaron Judge and starting a hit parade for the Yankees in what turned out to be a five-run, fourth inning. He later recorded his second RBI of the game- and 22nd of the season- on a groundout in the top of the ninth for an insurance run. Urshela has been one of the better draft values at the third base position- and one of the better hitters on the Yankees- as evidenced by his .288 batting average and 22 RBI, third behind only Giancarlo Stanton (quad) and Aaron Judge.
