Gio Urshela Belts Two-Run Homer In Victory
3 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman/shortstop Gio Urshela went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Orioles. Urshela belted a two-run homer in the third inning on a ball that left his bat at 102.6 MPH. After a quiet start to September, Urshela appears to be trending in the right direction, as he's 3-for-7 over his last two games. The 29-year-old is set to see consistent playing time moving forward, with the Yankees making him their starting shortstop down the stretch. The two-position eligibility could make Urshela a nice pick-up down the stretch if his bat starts to come to life.
