5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez left his start against the Cubs on Friday after 6 1/3 innings with a tight shoulder. It's a shame because Gonzalez was pitching well against the Cubs only allowing two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out nine. Before this start, Gonzalez hadn't completed six innings in a start and now with the injury, it's unclear how often that will happen moving forward. We will continue to monitor this injury situation, but Gonzalez is considered day-to-day for now.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
