4 years agoChicago White Sox starter Gio Gonzalez (groin) was activated off of the 10-day injured list on Tuesday afternoon. Zack Burdi was optioned as a corresponding move. Gonzalez has not pitched since August 22, but the 34-year-old may start against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. He owns a 5.11 ERA and 1.86 WHIP through 24 2/3 innings this season, but projects to have some value as a streaming option against a dismal Pirates lineup if he takes the mound.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
