Giants Defense Eventually Breaks Versus Cowboys
5 years agoThe New York Giants played the Cowboys tight for much of the game on Monday. Despite giving up 5.7 yards per carry, they had picked Dak Prescott off and not given up any big plays until midway through the third quarter. At that point, the Giants’ lack of pass rush against the Cowboys elite offensive line caught up with them, and the secondary let up some big plays as the Cowboys built a big lead they wouldn't relinquish. There simply isn't enough talent on the defensive side of the ball for the Giants to keep offenses off the board for an entire game, and they don't create enough turnovers for them to be a viable fantasy defense.
