Giants Considering Trading Fourth Overall Pick
5 years agoNew York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman said the team is "still discussing" the No. 4 overall pick in next week's draft, and he will very seriously consider trading back in the first round for the right offer. If the Giants stay put at No. 4, they're expected to address the offensive line and improve the protection around young quarterback Daniel Jones, who will enter his second season in the NFL as the team's starter. Georgia's Andrew Thomas, Alabama's Jedrick Wills, Louisville's Mekhi Becton and Iowa's Tristan Wirfs are the consensus top four offensive tackles available, but the G-Men may decide to move down later in the first round and still select an offensive tackle if they receive an offer they can't refuse.
