Giants Considering Moving Back From No. 4 Overall?
5 years agoNew York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman is interested in moving back from fourth overall in the first round of this month's draft, but it's hard to say how "serious" he is without knowing if the team has had any offers. Because of teams desperate to land their QB of the future, the Giants are in a power position. Both the Dolphins and Chargers at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively, need QBs, so another team wanting a top signal-caller may feel the need to jump them. New York might not be willing to drop back past the top 10, however. If the G-Men wind up staying put, they could select one of the top offensive linemen available or go with Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons. Building up the offensive line around quarterback Daniel Jones is a top priority for the Giants early in this draft.
