Giants Agree With Colt McCoy
5 years agoThe New York Giants agreed to terms on an undisclosed deal with quarterback Colt McCoy on Thursday, according to a source. McCoy will become the new backup for Daniel Jones in the Big Apple. The former third-round pick of the Browns in 2010, the 33-year-old played in just 12 games with the Redskins since 2014 and has thrown 29 touchdowns and 27 interceptions for a QB rating of 78.4 in his career. McCoy isn't the worst backup in the league, but he's also not the best. He's averaged just 6.6 yards per completion with the Browns, 49ers and Redskins.
