Giannis Antetokounmpo Sitting Out On Thursday
3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) will be held out of action on Thursday when the team faces the Washington Wizards. Antetokounmpo is dealing with knee soreness. The injury caused him to sit out this past Saturday, but he returned on Tuesday and racked up 25 points and 17 boards against the Chicago Bulls. The Bucks are likely just trying to rest their superstar ahead of the playoffs. Khris Middleton (wrist) is out for the game too, so we should see a big night for Jrue Holiday while Wesley Matthews, Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton should all see their usage increase as well.
