Giannis Antetokounmpo Scores 44 Points Against Nets
3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo stayed red hot in the team's 120-119 overtime victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. The Greek Freak put up 44 points while shooting 14-for-21 from the field and 15-for-19 from the free throw line. He also added 14 rebounds, six assists, one steal and one three-pointer. Antetokounmpo also achieved a meaningful career milestone in the game as he passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the franchise's all-time leading scorer. Antetokounmpo has now scored 40-plus points in two straight. He'll look to keep the good times rolling on Friday, when he leads the Bucks into battle against the Los Angeles Clippers.
