Giannis Antetokounmpo Out For Monday's Game
3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The reigning NBA Finals MVP is dealing with left ankle soreness. He was listed as probable for the game going into Monday, but was downgraded to doubtful Monday afternoon and finally ruled out about 90 minutes before tip-off. With the Greek Freak sidelined, we should see the Bucks lean heavily on their next best playmakers, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton. We should also see a usage increase for Bobby Portis and maybe Grayson Allen as well. Jordan Nwora is the most likely candidate to step into the starting five and he's worthy of taking a stab on in DFS.
