Giancarlo Stanton Smacks Hardest-Ever Statcast Home Run
6 years agoThe New York Yankees are suddenly seeing a form of 2017 Giancarlo Stanton following a fourth straight victory Thursday night in the Bronx against the Texas Rangers. Last year’s NL MVP clocked a home run in his third straight game, this one the hardest one hit since Statcast started measuring them in 2015. It was the only hit of the night for Stanton, but it was one of five home runs on the night, as the Yankees from before the All-Star break are beginning to reappear. As for Stanton, he’s at the peak of his season thus far, with a .310 average across the last seven games. He continues to lead the club in hits, home runs, and RBI.
