Giancarlo Stanton Homers For Third Straight Game
3 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton homered for a third consecutive game in Thursday's 7-6 win over the Athletics. Stanton sent a ball into orbit, depositing a 3-2 fastball 436 feet into the center-field seats at an incredible 116.2 MPH. The former Marlin is riding a four-game hitting streak, during which he's went yard three times and doubled twice while driving in seven runs. Stanton has been excellent in August, posting an 18.4 percent barrel rate, .633 slugging percentage, and 184 wRC+ during the month. He has the ability to carry a fantasy squad when he gets scorching hot like this.
