Giancarlo Stanton Hits Walk-Off Grand Slam Tuesday
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder/designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton made his one hit count in Tuesday's 9-8 win over the Pirates, going 1-for-4 with a walk-off grand slam, a walk, and three strikeouts. Stanton lined a ninth-inning Wil Crowe offering just over the left-field wall with the bases loaded to give the Yankees the win. The veteran has had an up-and-down season, slashing .210/.295/.453 with 27 home runs and 73 RBI. Hopefully, he can get things going and finish the regular season strong for the Yankees and fantasy managers.
