6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton was placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday morning with a left bicep strain. The 29-year-old slugger is 2-for-8 with one run scored and seven walks through his first three games of the season. While it is an annoying ailment for fantasy managers, the injury is not expected to be serious. Clint Frazier was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre as a corresponding move while Mike Tauchman may also fight for playing time in the outfield.
