Giancarlo Stanton Goes Yard In Tuesday's Win
3 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter/outfielder Giancarlo Stanton clobbered his 31st homer of the season in Tuesday's win over the Rangers. Stanton got every bit of his home run ball, giving it a 415-foot ride into the seats at 118.5 MPH. The 31-year-old has been a strong hitter this season, as he has slashed .268/.351/.499 with 31 homers, 83 RBI, and 58 runs scored. Arguably even more impressive than his numbers is that he has managed to stay healthy despite making 24 starts in the outfield. With three home runs in the last week, Stanton is an excellent DFS choice Wednesday against Rangers lefty Taylor Hearn, who has allowed 1.63 home runs per nine innings this season.
