Giancarlo Stanton Crushes First Home Run Of Spring
7 years agoTaking on his former division rival in the New York Mets on Saturday, outfielder Giancarlo Stanton took a couple of healthy hacks. In the first inning, he smashed a foul ball that struck the window of a press box. Later, he connected on a two-run home run, his first in a New York Yankees uniform. Stanton’s spring has consisted of solid plate production and a couple of struggles in the outfield. His pairing with fellow slugger Aaron Judge has excited Yankees fans with the prospects of how far they can lead the club that made a surprise ALCS appearance last year.
