Geronimo Allison Ready For Big Season
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison is ready for an important fourth season in the NFL after signing a one-year, $2.8 million contract as a restricted free agent this offseason. He'll receive a $750,000 signing bonus. Allison had 19 catches for 289 yards and two touchdowns four games into last year, but he suffered a concussion in Week 4 and dealt with injuries the rest of the season. He also dealt with a hamstring issue and eventually needed core muscle surgery. Despite an injury-riddled season, Allison is feeling 100 percent healthy and is confident he'll bounce back. With Randall Cobb going to Dallas, Allison could be the new slot receiver behind Davante Adams -- 43.6 percent of Allison's career NFL catches have come lined up on the inside. With good health, Allison could be in line for a breakout year as he heads into unrestricted free agency in 2020.
