Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb Inactive for Monday Night
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receivers Geronimo Allison (hamstring) and Randall Cobb (hamstring) have been ruled out for Monday night’s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Their injuries are not expected to keep them out much longer but this is the second consecutive week that each player has been inactive. Rookie wide receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown will look to fill their shoes. Valdes-Scantling is clearly above St. Brown on the depth chart and has earned more of quarterback Aaron Rodgers trust. Valdes-Scantling is the wide receiver to go with if you are in a bind. St. Brown is a much more high risk prospect. Neither rookie will retain much value once Cobb and/or Allison return to action.
