Gerardo Parra Steals A Base In Rare Start
6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Gerardo Parra has lost the vast majority of his playing time to a combination of David Dahl and Carlos Gonzalez, but he got a rare start on Tuesday due to the team facing lefty ace Clayton Kershaw. Parra provided one of the team's few hits in the game and stole second to try to help push the Rockies win, but Colorado would end up losing in extra innings. Parra has a $12 million team option for next year, but it's unlikely Colorado will pick it up with the bevy of young talent they have waiting in the wings.
