Colorado Rockies outfielder Gerardo Parra will take a seat on Thursday in favor of letting the Rockies use some of their younger outfield contingent. Parra is one of the weaker members of Colorado's old guard in the outfield, along with Carlos Gonzalez, but he's really turned it up since prospects like David Dahl and Noel Cuevas have started butting in on his playing time. Parra is hitting .320 over his last 22 games with two homers and two stolen bases, so he should continue to see the majority of starts in left field. He'll be replaced by newly recalled rookie Mike Tauchman on Thursday.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
