Gerald Everett Could Play In Week 5
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks tight end Gerald Everett was held out of the team's Week 4 win over the San Francisco 49ers after being placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list earlier in the week. Head coach Pete Carroll announced on Monday that Everett has tested negative, and there was a chance he would be able to suit up for the team's Week 5 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night. Everett is fourth on the team in targets and he ranks fifth in yards. Prior to missing Week 4, he had played at least 72 percent of the offensive snaps in each of the first three games, which had him leading the team's tight ends. If he's able to play, he would slide into the TE2 category for the week.
