George Springer Won't Play On Wednesday
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (elbow) will be held out of Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox. Springer suffered a right elbow injury during Tuesday's contest and was forced to be removed from the game. His injury is being described as right elbow discomfort. Springer has been struggling a bit at the plate lately, slashing just .217/.286/.420 so far in June. Raimel Tapia will likely be in center field for Wednesday's game with Springer on the sidelines.
