George Springer Removed Early On Sunday
1 day agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (wrist) was removed early during Sunday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. The veteran outfielder appeared to have suffered a left wrist injury during a plate appearance in the fifth inning. He was pulled out of the contest and finished his day 0-for-3 with a strikeout. The assumption is that Springer will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. Springer has been on a tear to start the season, so hopefully this is only a day-to-day type of issue. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on his status. Will Wagner and Alan Roden could see more playing time if Springer does miss time.
