George Springer Goes 2-For-5 On Thursday
George Springer capped off a strong series against the New York Yankees by going 2-for-5 in Thursday's series finale. He reached base a total of six times during the three-game series, including a three-hit game on Wednesday. The 32-year-old has struggled a bit at the plate overall in September. He's slashing .216/.296/.371 across the month with three home runs, six RBI and 12 runs. Injuries have limited the former Astro to only 75 games on the season. He's hit 19 home runs across the year while scoring 54 runs and posting an OPS of .860.

George Springer Homers In Three-Hit Game
George Springer kept up his torrid start to the season, going 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBI, and two runs in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Mariners. The veteran is now slashing .297/.404/.517 with five home runs and six stolen bases on the year. This is looking like a true resurgence for the former superstar, after many wrote him off after he hit .220 in 2024. It's unlikely he keeps up this pace for the whole year, but he will still be a valuable asset for fantasy as a potential 20-homer and 20-steal threat.

George Springer Crushes Fourth Home Run
George Springer went 2-for-4 with a single, a home run, and two RBI in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. The 35-year-old got the Blue Jays on the board in the first inning with a two-run blast -- his fourth of the season -- off of Angels pitcher Tyler Anderson, scoring teammate Vladimir Guerrero Jr. It traveled 426 feet and exited the bat at 109.1 MPH, qualifying for the hardest hit ball in the contest. After failing to go yard in nearly a month, Springer is up to two homers over his last four games as he continues to impact the ball well. His other hit in the loss was also well struck (103.2 MPH). He's up to a .316/.419/.541 triple slash with five steals to go along with eight doubles, and a 28:18 K:BB ratio (15.7% walk rate) through 98 at-bats.

George Springer Reaches Base Four Times In Win Over Guardians
George Springer went 1-for-1 with a home run in his team's 5-3 win against the Cleveland Guardians on Friday. The Connecticut native scored twice, walked twice, swiped a bag, and reached on an error (catcher's interference on a six-pitch at-bat). Springer was productive again as he continues his torrid stretch to start the season. He's slashing a robust .314/.423/.523, with seven doubles, 12 off his total from last year in 459 fewer at-bats. His batted ball metrics support the production, as the 35-year-old is sporting a 50% hard-hit rate and 92.6 MPH exit velocity -- marks he hasn't sniffed in years. Furthermore, he's eclipsed his hardest hit ball of 2024 (112.3 MPH) in the early going. Health has always been a knock against Springer, but it appears he'll be a strong option if he can stay on the field.

George Springer Still Out Against Braves
George Springer (wrist) remains out of action for Wednesday's series finale against the Atlanta Braves at the Rogers Centre. Alan Roden will get another start in left field and will bat sixth against Braves right-hander Spencer Strider (elbow), who is making his first start of the season. This will be Springer's third straight game on the bench as he deals with inflammation in his left wrist. Toronto has a day off on Thursday before starting a weekend series against the visiting Seattle Mariners on Friday, so fantasy managers will want to check back then to see if the 35-year-old veteran is back in the lineup. As of right now, Toronto is treating Springer as day-to-day, and he could even be available off the bench on Wednesday. Roden clubbed his first home run of the season in Tuesday's win over Atlanta but will be in store for a tough matchup against Strider on Wednesday.
