George Springer Exits Tuesday’s Game Early
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer was removed during the seventh inning of Tuesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles after showing some discomfort while running the bases. He pulled up a little gingerly while running towards second base. The severity of Springer's injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day. The Blue Jays will provide an update after the game. Springer was activated from the 10-day injured list on Monday after spending two weeks with a knee injury. Jarrod Dyson replaced Springer in center field. Dyson would see an uptick in playing time if Springer were to miss any games. Fantasy managers searching for steals can add Dyson as he's swiped 10 bags over 79 games this season.
