George Pickens Finds The End Zone In Preseason Opener
1 year agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens finished with one reception for 33 yards and a touchdown in the team's preseason win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Pickens ran for about 23 yards after the catch for a score on his only target, a strike from Kenny Pickett at the end of Pittsburgh's first offensive drive. The second-year pro will be looking to improve on a solid rookie campaign that resulted in 52 receptions for 801 yards and four touchdowns. The Steelers will need to make significant strides on offense in 2023 for Pickens to become reliable for fantasy purposes, but he'll certainly offer plenty of upside as a WR3 or flex option to start the season.
