George Kittle Won't Practice Thursday
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that tight end George Kittle (ankle, knee) will not practice on Thursday, and the team won't know his status until the end of the week. Kittle could very well be questionable for Monday night against the Seahawks, which would be a nightmare for fantasy owners. He's a must-start high-end TE1 when active, but Kittle's fantasy owners might have to make a tough call if he's not cleared by Sunday morning. Ross Dwelley would be thrust into a bigger role on Monday if Kittle can't play, but he wouldn't be a realistic fantasy replacement. Receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Deebo Samuel would also likely see more targets in the passing game.
