George Kittle Practices On Wednesday
1 year agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (groin) returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the last few weeks while dealing with an adductor strain. His status for Week 1 at the Pittsburgh Steelers is still uncertain at the moment, but it's a good sign that he got in a practice session on Wednesday. Fantasy managers will want to keep close tabs on his status over the next few days and should have a backup option ready in case the veteran tight end is unable to suit up on Sunday. If Kittle plays, he'll be a top-five option at TE, but if he is unable to go, expect an uptick in targets for Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and Brandon Aiyuk. Charlie Woerner would start at tight end in Kittle's place, but he's not on the fantasy radar.
