George Kittle Goes For 28 Yards In Return
2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle caught four of five targets for 28 yards in his first game back since suffering a groin injury, an 11-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. It was Kittle's fourth straight game, going back to last season, to be held under 30 yards. It was an ugly game all around. Niners QB Jimmy Garoppolo was misfiring passes in his first game back. Kittle said afterward, "When you go 1-for-10 on third down, you can't really expect to win very many games." He and the 49ers will look to rebound next week in a home game against the Los Angeles Rams.
