Gavin Lux Carted Off The Field Monday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Gavin Lux (leg) had to be carted off the field on Monday during the team's Cactus League game against the San Diego Padres, and he wasn't putting any weight on his right leg. Lux went down near third base after hitting the base awkwardly as the Padres third baseman turned a double play. This didn't look good, but we'll have more information on the 25-year-old when it becomes available. Lux was set to be the starting shortstop in 2023 after Trea Turner left in free agency, so an extended absence could be troublesome for the Dodgers up the middle to begin the season. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on Lux's injury prognosis in the coming days. If he's forced to miss significant time, the Dodgers could use Miguel Rojas at the 6.
