Gary Woodland arrived at The Honda Classic after missing the cut at four of his previous five events. Woodland played much better last week, though. He gained strokes in every key metric, including 6.1 strokes from tee-to-green. Woodland finished in fifth place last week thanks to a strong 67 on Sunday. The 37-year-old American returns to Bay Hill, where his best finish was a 20th-place result in 2014. Woodland has played this event six times and has two missed cuts.
