Gary Sanchez Stays Hot With Home Run
6 years agoJust as he capped off Monday night's game with a three-run home run, New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez kicked off Tuesday's game with a blast. The former All-Star drilled another three-run home run in the first inning, essentially putting the game away early. The Yankees would double their lead two innings later and coasted to victory. Sanchez is batting .333 over the last week as his club has catapulted into first place of the American League East. While he was the DH today, expect to see him play every day as the Yankees continue their success as a first-place club. He now has 14 home runs in 31 games.
