Gary Sanchez Gets Assurance Behind The Plate
7 years agoWhile New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez enjoyed another successful season at the plate last year, it was behind the plate where issues ensued. The 25-year-old suffered defensively, with talk of switching him to full-time designated hitter running rampant. However, his new manager Aaron Boone has given Sanchez a vote of confidence. Sanchez will bat cleanup Thursday behind outfielders Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge as the Yankees take on the Toronto Blue Jays.
