Garrett Wilson Scores Long Touchdown In Week 2
1 year agoNew York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson finished with two receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in the team's 30-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The 23-year-old left late in the contest following a brief trip to the medical tent but head coach Robert Saleh later confirmed that he just had the wind knocked out of him. Wilson was clearly the favorite target of quarterback Zach Wilson, but the two only displayed chemistry in the second quarter when Wilson picked up over 50 yards after the catch to score on a short pass. The second-year wideout will continue to make highlight plays and post relevant fantasy performances but it's clear that his value has taken a massive hit with the season-ending injury to Aaron Rodgers (Achilles). Wilson will hope to get on the same page as his quarterback in a Week 3 divisional showdown with the New England Patriots.
